Contact M2 Malaysia: Official Channels Only
Reaching M2 Malaysia is the easy part. The part worth a minute of your attention is making sure the channel you reached is the real one, because impersonation accounts are common in this category and they are convincing.
The rule
Start the Conversation Yourself
One habit removes nearly all of the risk. Open support from a link inside our site or the app, every time. Not from a search result, not from a group someone added you to, and not by replying to a message that arrived on its own.
Our we work around the clock in English, Malay and Chinese across live chat, Telegram and WhatsApp. All three are reachable from your account, which is the only routing you need to remember.
Telling them apart
What a Real Channel Does and Does Not Do
| Behaviour | Genuine support | Impersonator |
|---|---|---|
| Who starts it | You do | They do, unprompted |
| Your password | Never asked for | Asked for, often early |
| One-time codes | Never asked for | Asked for, framed as verification |
| Payment to release a withdrawal | Does not exist | A recurring request |
| Pressure | None — a record does not expire | Urgency, deadlines, threats of closure |
| Where documents go | The verification screen in your account | Straight into a chat thread |
If a conversation trips any row in the right-hand column, stop replying, change the password from inside your account, and open a fresh conversation the way you would normally.
Community
Following Versus Contacting
There is a Telegram broadcast channel for announcements, and Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and X accounts alongside it. Those are worth following for offer drops, and they are not support: a public comment thread is the wrong place for an account number, a transaction reference or a photograph of your identity card.
Keep those on the private channels, with your username and the relevant reference to hand. The offers those accounts announce are listed properly inside your account anyway.
Questions
Contact and Safety Questions
How do I know a support channel is genuine?
Reach it from a link inside our site or the app rather than from a search result, a group chat or a message that arrived unprompted. Starting the conversation yourself is the whole defence.
Someone messaged me first claiming to be M2 support. Is that normal?
Treat it as suspect. Genuine support responds to a conversation you opened; an unprompted message offering to fix your account or release a bonus is the standard shape of an impersonation attempt.
What will a fake channel ask for that a real one will not?
A password, a one-time code, a full card number, or a payment before a withdrawal can be released. None of those are ever requested by us, and all four are requested constantly by impersonators.
Is there an official M2 phone number?
None is published. A phone line presented as official M2 support should be treated as unverified, and anything it asks you to do should be checked through a channel you opened yourself.
Can I send documents over WhatsApp or Telegram?
Verification documents go through the account's own verification screen rather than a chat thread, which keeps them inside our platform rather than sitting in a messenger.
What do I do if I already gave details to a fake channel?
Change the password immediately from inside your account, then open a genuine support conversation and say what was shared. Speed matters more than embarrassment here.
Reach the Real Desk
Open support from inside your account and you are on a genuine channel by construction. Deposit limits and account closure run through the same place, and if what you need is not about an account at all, independent counselling services in Malaysia can help with that instead. 21+ — and work out where you stand legally before you fund anything: the statute here is restrictive, with Syariah provisions covering Muslim citizens too.
